I have two daughters earthside and one angel baby. I am married to my husband, who is a chiropractor, and together we own Lockhart Chiropractic in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I’m also one of three founders of The Village Kenosha, a doula led support group in the area. We have a 95 lb, 8 year old, big goofy puppy. I love baking sourdough, spending time with family at the beach or going for walks/hiking, vacationing in Hawaii, reading, and watching movies! The loss of our first baby happened when I was 13 weeks pregnant. That experience set the stage for my passion supporting families during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and everything else included in the journey between, including loss. When my first daughter was born in 2023, we had the unmedicated birth experience that I fought so hard for and were lucky enough to have our own doula to support us. Then in 2025 we welcomed our second daughter in the comfort of our home. Since having my first daughter, God has closed many doors to show me that being a doula is the work I am being called to. My goal is to walk alongside families and provide unwavering, nurturing support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum including through loss. My belief is that the loss of a baby at any point deserves support that most times is not available in the standard Western healthcare setting leaving families at a loss for next steps, expectations, and healing. I wholeheartedly believe in mothering the mother and that our birth stories are already written, my hope is just to encourage and support you through whatever that looks like. Having had the experience of loss that ended up in an ER visit, a hospital birth, and a home birth, I feel that I am able to bring a well rounded approach to support families no matter the setting they choose to birth in.
